Sonder Magazine is a fictional collaborative arts magazine targeted towards aspiring artists, struggling artists, or art lovers seeking out new means of inspiration. Sonder aims to celebrate and promote art, music, literature and many other creative expressions. Sonder magazine is also a platform to showcase different art and artists and an outlet to view and learn about art in an accessible way.
The word “sonder” is the realization that everyone who passes by you is living a life just as vivid and full as yours. The design of the magazine is meant to provoke an insightful response by reacting to the art content. There are different artists showcased throughout the magazine, like in the table of contents and masthead advertisement. Each page is intended to have substantial content and the different art displayed on the pages achieves that. The end result includes a cover, masthead and advertisement, table of contents, two department pages, a full page spread, and a back advertisement.
